About
I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Relationship Therapist.
As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to a strict code of ethics ensuring good practice and I am therefore subject to their professional conduct procedure.
I trained on a BACP accredited course. This course included Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt models of counselling. I also have an Oxford College qualification in Couple Counselling.
I have several years’ experience working as a therapist with various agencies and establishments. These range from a Relationship Counselling agency, University, a detention centre, bereavement agency as well as running my own practice.
This has given me experience on a broad range of issues and although I specialise in Relationships, have worked extensively with student issues, loss, anxiety and stress.
I have experience working with the elderly, detainees as well as working for several years with a bereavement agency. I run my private practice from Birchington in Kent.
I am a relationship counsellor for an Independent Relationship Counselling Organisation which involves helping couples to move forward to a healthier place. This may include looking at communication, trust or dissatisfaction within the relationship in order to find a resolution.
